In the interest of not droning on incessantly about things that happen 5,000-13,500 feet above ground level (you should be SO glad that you don’t live with me), I’m sharing a photo from yesterday.
This is beautiful, no? It’s the late afternoon sun (yes, SUN. SSSSUUUUNNNN!!!) shining on shower thingies in our downstairs bathroom.
I really love the contrast. The colors remind me of clowns.
I have mixed feelings about clowns. I like really funny clowns, like the ones at Cirque du Soleil. I abhor sad clowns, which should be banned from clowndom as oxymorons. Nurse Tattoo was terrified of clowns as a child and will still cross to the other side of the street if she sees one coming toward her. I once went to a church with a clown ministry–and, on that note, we’ll leave the topic.
But there’s nothing mixed about the way I feel about sun. Or a good hot shower, especially after a long run in cold weather. Or the way the shower thingies make just a little bit of gel turn into lots of foam.
So, all in all, I like this photo quite a bit.

2-3 people showering in your house on a given day and yet 4 shower thingies … hmm, points to ponder. Lovely picture though.
