I should have fun trying to get on an airplane from now on.
That’s a rod and four screws on the front side and my C4-C6 vertebra are wired together in the back.
It’s hard to believe this was just about a month ago, give or take. I’m down to a couple of pain meds and itching to get off one of them so I can have my brain back.
I can walk fast enough to get some endorphins flowing, and I take the dog along, every morning for 45 minutes or so. The only things I can’t do are push/pull/lift anything that weighs more than 8 pounds, lift my arms above my shoulders, and drive. And contact sports.
Which totally sucks, because football practice starts soon.

Well, you should be in shape for ice hockey season at least.
